AO1a - Army Leaflets

Create an informative set of leaflets that explains to readers the different roles and responsibilities of the Army.

Leaflet 1 – Give an overview of the Army including its general roles and responsibilities as well as examples of Specialist Units

Leaflet 2 – 6 - Conflict, Peacekeeping, Civil Protection, Disaster Relief and Community Work

For each leaflet you will need to describe which regiments may be involved during deployment and the roles and responsibilities of the Army during each crisis.  Specific Examples are needed of recent activity as well as evidence of where you found this information.

Templates for leaflets 1-3 have already been created for you and can be accessed via the link below.  I expect you to be creative and tailor these templates to your own style.

You will need to embed these leaflets into your blog which you have recently created.
AO1b - External Speaker
Attendance to this session is critical as an Army officer will be giving you all the information needed on the roles and responsibilities of the Army in differing situations.  I will be creating a witness statement on how well you interated with the speaker, the questions you asked and the information that you came away with.
Below is a link for an A4 template for you to make notes whilst the officer is speaking.  To reiterate you will be marked on the notes you make during this session!
